Wentzville Post Office

Terrible place. Terrible service. This post office almost never fails to disappoint. Most recently, when I returned from vacation and checked on my VA medication using a tracking number, the post office website said it was being held at customer request. I figured this was related to our request to hold our mail for a specified amount of time. But we had returned and our other mail was delivered. I made a trip to the post office. Stood in line for 15 or 20 minutes to be brusquely informed that I needed to "ring the buzzer" on another door. The first fellow took my tracking number and went off searching. After 10 minutes or so, he came back saying he could not find it and he handed off the task to another clerk. That clerk went away and finally came back after another 10 minutes or so with the package saying it must have "fell off into another bin". I asked for the postmaster's name. I thanked him and left. I very often get mail delivered to my house that is the wrong address. Makes me wonder how much mail I am missing. This post office in Wentzville MO should be shut down. I will likely be sending a copy of this to the Postmaster General.
