Morton Grove Post Office

I visited the Morton Grove, Illinois post office to deliver a package for postage. The attendant was extremely unpleasant unprofessional and unhelpful employee. I never got his name because he didn’t allow me to approach him, he was a tall, heavy-set African American man who appeared miserable and disengaged with his work. I arrived just two minutes before closing time, and instead of offering assistance, he showed no empathy or understanding of my situation. Rather than simply accepting my package, he directed me to another location much farther away, with no clear reason for doing so. His behavior and attitude were completely uncalled for, and he made me feel as though my business was unwelcome. His lack of basic customer service skills was disappointing, and I felt that he had no interest in being helpful or providing a positive experience. Based on this interaction, I will be seeking alternative post offices in the future and will be sharing my experience with others. The employee's attitude and lack of professionalism reflect poorly on the Morton Grove location as a whole.
