I went to mail a package on Nov. 10. About 8 people in line, all with masks but one. However, neither of the two postal employees waiting on customers had a mask on and the plexiglass shields are a joke....they don't have a pass through, they are narrow. They provide protection if you are using the card reader, but not for other business. I looked and left. Mailed my package at private package\mail service where masks were being worn. Madera County is in the purple tier, highest chance of exposure and the most restrictive open rules. I know the post office is federal and the county probably doesn't have any control, but this is a terrible example and the post office is an essential service. MASKS Please. and better barriers.
